I could be going home in a few days but it's hard to get a firm answer out of these guys. One thing is for sure--I won't be having the surgery until the end of this month which is a LITTLE disappointing I'll be honest but they just want me to be as healthy as I can be before they cut me open and screw metal rods into my back. It will be nice to go home. It's been five weeks since I've seen it. See? Silver lining:)

That is a silver lining. That and you're getting better, and you'll be healthIER when they DO cut you open (again). That, AND (unless I've missed something) you won't really be limited by the back surgery!
Sorry you have to wait so long though, but on the bright side you'll be able to listen to music and watch movies rather than listen to beeps and watch visitors walk by your room. ;)

That would be frustrating to have to wait for more pain and more hospitalization, rather than healing all at once. But you are doing great, keep getting plenty of rest and eat lots of fresh veggies and fruits and that will help in the healing too! Love ya,
